Rants and raves about software art & design, artsy fartsy style.
Mandy and I are in the middle of building a house, after we sold the house we lived in for 9 years (and converted part into our working studio). We are effectively office-less which means I came to the painful realization that doing digital artwork (outside of just sketching etc) out of the studio is friggin' damn near impossible. If you're a power Photoshop user, you likely use a Wacom or mouse with serious keyboard shortcut muscle memory and a big phat honkin' external monitor. Take that away and all you have is a small screen, track pad, and awkward keyboard height.... It's the kind of stuff that makes you want to catch Pokemon and throw them into a meat grinder while smiling ear to ear eating chicken nuggets and whistling Mr Rogers.
Well maybe not that bad, but still... Can't wait until we get our office back.
