Nintendo revealed their new console, previously codenamed "NX", in a video today. The video shows mostly adults possibly in their late 20s early 30s in different scenarios playing the new console. It's interesting to note that the video was clearly aimed at adults with no kiddos making an appearance, which is quite a deviation for the gaming company.
UPDATE: It appears that the Nintendo Switch is utilizing Nvidia's Tegra processor to power the unit, detailed in their blog. It also shows use of cartridge-based games and interchangeable controllers, like their new Pro controller seen below.
It appears to be a device with a screen that has controllers that detach for various styles of gameplay, as well as has the ability to dock to a TV.
Honestly, while cool, it's hard to imagine those scenarious playing out as they do, but no one predicted the Wii's social success either. More will be known about the device as it gets closer to release.
